Rodney Saulsberry

Rodney Saulsberry is a celebrated American voice actor best known for being the industry go-to for behind the scenes narration and announcements. Saulsberry’s distinct tones can be heard in promotional material for Dancing With The Stars, the Grammy Awards, and the CW Network, among countless other credits.

Michigan-born Saulsberry boasts an exciting career spanning five decades and countless disciplines and industries. One of the most in-demand voices in the industry, Saulsberry has worked with ABC on both Dancing With The Stars and Charlie Brown Christmas Special, FOX Television on the Essence Awards, CBS on the Grammy Awards and Country Music Awards, among other commercial, announcer and promotional credits.

A diverse and talented performer, Saulsberry has found much success as both a voice and on-screen actor. In the 80s, Saulsberry played Flick in Shelly Levinson’s Oscar-winning short Violet. Additional on-screen credits include M*A*S*H, Dynasty, Capitol, The Philadelphia Experiment, The A-Team and The Bold and the Beautiful. He has lent his voice to dozens of animated television show and video game characters, including in Grand Theft Auto V, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Spider-Man, and Aaahh!! Read Monsters.

A gifted baritone singer, Saulsberry has released two R&B albums, which include the Billboard charting singles, I Wonder and Look Watcha Done Now. His melodious voice can be heard on the soundtrack for The Lion King favourite Hakuna Matata. As a writer, Saulsberry has penned three bestselling books, You Can Bank on Your Voice, Step Up to the Mic, and Rodney Saulsberry’s Tongue Twisters and Vocal Warm-Ups.
