Romane Dicko

Romane Dicko is an Olympic medalist and world champion judoka, known for her dominance in the +78kg category, and also a growing presence in the fashion industry. After securing a gold medal at the 2016 European Cadet Judo Championships in the +70kg category, Romane Dicko went on to establish herself as one of the most dominant judokas in the +78kg division globally. Her ascent continued in 2017, earning two gold medals at the European Junior Judo Championships (individual +78kg and Women’s Team), alongside a bronze medal at the World Championships (Mixed Team). Dicko quickly transitioned to senior-level dominance, claiming her first European Senior Championship gold medal in 2018 in Tel Aviv (+78kg), a year which also saw her win gold at the IJF Grand Prix Tbilisi (+78kg).

She continued her Olympic success at the 2024 Paris Olympics, securing another bronze medal in her individual +78kg event and a gold medal with the Mixed Team. Looking ahead to 2025, she is slated for a bronze medal at the World Judo Championships (+78kg), a gold medal at the European Judo Championships in Podgorica, and a gold at the IJF Grand Slam Tbilisi. Beyond judo, Romane Dicko has branched into the fashion industry, launching her own line of swimsuits and participating in brand campaigns. In 2025, she expanded her public profile by appearing on the seventh season of ‘Mask Singer’ (French version) as Panda Roux.
