Ron Killings

Ron Killings, a multifaceted entertainer, made history in 2002 as the first African-American NWA World Heavyweight Champion, a title he held twice during his tenure with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). Killings launched his professional wrestling career in 1997 with the Pro Wrestling Federation (PWF) as a manager, swiftly transitioning to a competitor. As K-Krush in NWA Wildside, he captured the NWA Wildside Television Championship in 1999. Later that year, he signed with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), adopting the ring name K-Kwik and securing the WWF Hardcore Championship twice in 2001 before his departure.

In 2024, Killings reignited his career with a significant return to the forefront of WWE. After a period of adopting a more serious persona, he reunited with long-time on-screen partner The Miz to form the popular tag team ‘Awesome Truth.’ This partnership culminated in a triumphant victory at WrestleMania XL, where they captured the World Tag Team Championship, marking Killings’ first-ever win at the iconic event. This recent achievement underscores his enduring appeal and ability to connect with audiences, reinforcing his status as a prominent figure in entertainment.
