Ryan Belleville

Becoming the youngest person to tape his own ‘Comedy Now!’ special for CTV, Ryan Belleville established himself as a dynamic talent in Canadian comedy and acting. His early career saw him appear on CBC’s ‘The Sean Cullen Show’ and take on the memorable role of ‘Slime Master Ryan’ on the YTV series ‘Uh Oh!’. These initial experiences quickly solidified his presence in the Canadian entertainment industry, showcasing his versatility as both a comedian and an actor. Belleville’s career progressed with significant roles in both television and film.

In 2004, he starred as Eddie in the Disney Channel Original Movie ‘Stuck in the Suburbs’ and featured in the film ‘Going the Distance.’ The following year, he held a recurring role as Jasper in the Fox TV series ‘Life on a Stick.’ A major career milestone came in 2011 when he co-wrote and starred in the Canadian sitcom ‘Almost Heroes,’ additionally serving as an executive producer for eight episodes. He lent his voice to Holger Holghart in the Teletoon animated show ‘Detentionaire’ for 53 episodes from 2011 to 2015. From 2017 to 2023, Belleville was a prominent cast member on the Netflix/CBC Television comedy series ‘Workin’ Moms,’ portraying Lionel Carlson for 66 episodes. His contributions extend to writing and producing, including co-executive producing 20 episodes of ‘Overlord and the Underwoods’ (2021-2022), where he also wrote three episodes.

Most recently, Belleville made his podcast debut on ‘Quitting Made Real’ by Nicorette. He is currently starring in multiple roles for the upcoming Paramount+ Canada series, ‘Hate the Player: The Ben Johnson Story,’ set for release soon. He is also preparing to release his highly anticipated comedy special, ‘Citizen Nowhere,’ in October.
