Ryann Kipping holds a Master of Public Health degree from San Diego State University and is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. Her early career included diverse roles, such as a Clinical Dietitian Intern at Alliance Health Midwest (Oct 2015 – May 2016) and a SNAP-Ed Project Coordinator for Catholic Charities Diocese of San Diego (Apr 2017 – Aug 2017), where she developed and conducted nutrition education programs for vulnerable populations, including those in transient housing and refugees. She also contributed to creating a Healthy Nutrition Policy for the agency, promoting healthy lifestyles in community settings.
Building on her foundation, Ryann transitioned into roles focused more directly on client nutrition. She served as a Registered Dietitian for Balanced Fitness and Health (Dec 2016 – Dec 2017) and partnered with Eat Clean Meal Prep San Diego (Oct 2016 – Dec 2021) to ensure balanced meals and provide further nutrition guidance. In February 2018, Ryann established The Prenatal Nutritionist, a virtual private practice. As CEO and Registered Dietitian, she specializes in assisting individuals preparing for pregnancy and navigating nutrition during and after pregnancy. Her work aims to equip women with the confidence to nourish a growing baby through a real-food, holistic approach, primarily delivered through online platforms including an app-based community and The Prenatal Nutrition Library®.
Her commitment to public health and nutrition is further demonstrated by her extensive volunteer work with organizations such as OU Children’s Hospital (Apr 2015 – present), Feed the Children (Oct 2015 – present), and the San Diego Food Bank (Jan 2017 – present). She also served as a WIC RD Supervisor for the SDSU Research Foundation (Aug 2017 – Mar 2019). Ryann is a Certified Lactation Educator Counselor (May 2018) and a recipient of several academic awards, including the Dean’s Academic Excellence Award (May 2016) from OU HSC College of Allied Health. These credentials and experiences underscore her dedication to advancing nutritional well-being, particularly for women during critical life stages.
