Sam Huntington is an actor known for his roles in feature films like “Jungle 2 Jungle” and “Superman Returns,” and television series such as “Being Human” and “Rosewood.” After signing a three-movie contract with Walt Disney Company, Sam Huntington went on to his breakout role as Mimi-Siku in the 1997 comedy Jungle 2 Jungle, starring alongside Tim Allen and Martin Short, for which he received a nomination for the Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor. He further established his film presence with roles in Detroit Rock City (1999) and as ‘Ox’ in the 2001 ensemble comedy Not Another Teen Movie. Having built a strong theatrical foundation through roles including Jem in To Kill A Mockingbird at the Peterborough Players from 1991 to 1994, Huntington commenced his professional screen career in 1995 with appearances in television commercials, a voice-over for The Magic School Bus, an instructional video for Windows 95, and the Hallmark Hall of Fame presentation Harvest of Fire (1996), followed by a guest appearance on Law & Order in 1997. Huntingtons career ascended with his significant casting as Jimmy Olsen in Bryan Singer’s 2006 film Superman Returns.
