Rose Mciver

Rose McIver was born on October 10, 1988, in Auckland, New Zealand, to artist Ann Coney and photographer John George Whitfield McIver. Her career began at a young age, appearing in commercials at two years old and making her film debut at three as an angel in “The Piano” (1993). As a child actress, she frequently appeared in fantasy-focused television series such as “Hercules and the Amazon Women” (1994), “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys” (1995), and “Xena: Warrior Princess” (1995).

McIver transitioned into lead television roles with “Maddigan’s Quest” (2006) and “Rude Awakenings” (2007). A significant milestone in her early career was her role as Summer Landsdown, the Yellow Ranger, in “Power Rangers R.P.M.” (2009), appearing in all 32 episodes. She also gained recognition for her supporting role as Lindsey Salmon in “The Lovely Bones” (2009), portraying the younger sister of the main character who investigates her sister’s murder.

Her career further advanced with main roles in “Super City” (2011) and recurring appearances in acclaimed series like “Masters of Sex” (2013) and “Once Upon a Time” (2013-2017), where she embodied Tinker Bell. A pivotal point in her career was securing the lead role of Olivia “Liv” Moore in the comedy-drama series “iZombie” (2015-2019). Most recently, she stars as Samantha Arondekar in the CBS supernatural sitcom “Ghosts” (2021-present) and has taken on directing and producing roles in projects like “To the Death” (2023) and “Nice Ride” (2020), showcasing her expanding engagement in film and television production.
