Sam Palladio

Sam Palladio is an English actor and musician recognized for his diverse roles in television and film, notably as Gunnar Scott in “Nashville” and as a musician with the band Salt Water Thief. After gaining significant recognition for his starring role as Gunnar Scott in the ABC musical drama series ‘Nashville,’ Sam Palladio has established himself as a versatile actor and musician. His tenure on ‘Nashville’ spanned six seasons from 2012 to 2018, showcasing both his acting range and musical talents to a broad audience. Prior to this breakthrough, Palladio honed his craft, graduating from Rose Bruford College in 2008 and making his television debut in ‘Little Crackers’ in 2010.

This period also saw him take on the role of Alexander Vasilchikov in the HBO/Sky Atlantic historical drama ‘Catherine the Great’ in 2019. Beyond his acting, Palladio is also recognized as the lead singer for the British folk band Salt Water Thief.
