Sam Palladio

Sam Palladio was born on November 21, 1986, in Pembury, Kent, England, and was raised in Penzance, Cornwall, by his artist parents. He received his education at Humphry Davy School before pursuing Actor Musicianship at Rose Bruford College in Sidcup, London, graduating in 2008. His early career involved guest appearances in various television series such as “Little Crackers,” “Doctors,” “The Hour,” and “Cardinal Burns.” These initial roles provided a foundation for his acting career, showcasing his versatility in different television formats.

Palladio gained significant recognition for his starring role as Gunnar Scott in the ABC musical drama series “Nashville,” which began in 2012 and concluded in 2018 after six seasons. This role not only highlighted his acting abilities but also his musical talents. Concurrently, he had a recurring role as Stoke in the comedy series “Episodes” from 2012 to 2015. His film credits include “7 Lives” (2011), “Runner, Runner” (2013), and providing the voice for Roland in the animated film “Strange Magic” (2015).

His career further expanded with recurring appearances as Ed in the science fiction drama series “Humans” from 2016 to 2018. Palladio also appeared in several films within “The Princess Switch” series, portraying Prince Edward in “The Princess Switch” (2018), “The Princess Switch: Switched Again” (2020), and “The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star” (2021). Beyond acting, he was the lead singer for the British folk band Salt Water Thief, demonstrating his engagement in music. In 2021, he took on a main role as Luke in the television series “Rebel,” and is set to appear as Jacob Roberts in “The Couple Next Door” in 2025. In 2024, he also appeared as Joe Strummer in “Bob Marley: One Love.”
