Specialising in Anxiety Disorders, she is the Founder of Sandra Reich’s Couple Retreats, the Clinical Director of The Montreal Center for Anxiety & Depression, the Co-Director of Anxiety Videos and the Co-Director of Empowered Women Workshops. Her book on relationships – Once upon a Time – How Cinderella Grew Up & Became a Happy Empowered Woman – is a number one bestselling self-help book on relationships.
A well-known and popular radio host on VoiceAmerica’s Straight Talk with Sandra Reich, she has appeared frequently as an expert on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and dealing with anxiety on numerous other TV and radio shows including Global TV’s Good Morning Live, Discovery Health’s Accident Investigator, Oprah Network’s Celebrity Damage Control , reality show Working it Out together and discussing the topic of stress on the series As a Matter of Fact.
Reich had a fascination with human nature from an early age, and went on to study Counselling Psychology at McGill University earning a Master’s degree. She also trained extensively with the the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Clinic for Anxiety Disorders at The Montreal General Hospital, and has learnt from some the leading experts in the field including David Barlow, Martin Seligman, Aaron Beck, David Burns, Steven Hollon and Albert Ellis. Reich also trained in Emotion-Focused Therapy with the pioneers of this type of therapy including Dr John Gottman, Dr Sue Johnson and Leslie Greenberg.
