About

Sara Foster was born on February 5, 1981, in Los Angeles, California, to record producer David Foster and former model Rebecca Dyer. Her early career included a brief stint as a fashion model and hosting the Entertainment Tonight spin-off, ET on MTV, in 2000. This early exposure led to her breakthrough as the lead femme fatale in the 2004 film “The Big Bounce.” Throughout her acting career, Foster built a filmography that includes appearances in several television series, showcasing her versatility across different roles and genres.

Foster’s career progressed with significant roles in episodic television, including her recurring portrayal as Jen Clark in The CW’s drama series “90210” from 2009 to 2012, spanning 23 episodes. She also appeared in “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” and “Crossing Jordan.” In 2015, Foster co-created and starred in the VH1 mockumentary series “Barely Famous” with her sister Erin Foster, which ran for two seasons. This project marked a turning point, showcasing her abilities beyond acting into production. Her work in production continued with executive producer credits on “Nobody Wants This” (2024), a Netflix series she co-produced with her sister, and “The World’s First Podcast” (2024). Foster also served as co-creative head for the dating app Bumble from 2017 to 2020.

Her career milestones also include notable film roles such as Amy in “D.E.B.S.” (2004) and Roslyn in “Psych:9” (2010). Foster’s involvement in both acting and production demonstrates a sustained career in the entertainment industry, leveraging her early experiences in modeling and television hosting to establish a multifaceted presence.
