Scout Taylor-Compton

Scout Taylor-Compton has established herself as a versatile actress in film and television, transitioning from child actor to an adult career spanning horror, drama, and comedy. After a featured role in the AFI film ‘A.W.O.L.’ in 1998, Scout Taylor-Compton established herself as a versatile actress. Early in her career, she appeared in over fifteen student films, numerous commercials for brands including Fuji Film and Disney Cruise Line, and several music videos. Her theatrical background included stage roles in ‘Annie Warbucks’ and ‘Footloose’.

Taylor-Compton also contributed voice-over work to films such as ‘I Am Sam’ (2001), ‘The Core’ (2003), and ‘The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement’ (2004). Her major Hollywood film debut was ’13 Going on 30′ (2004), followed by a leading role in MGM’s ‘Sleepover’ (2004), which earned her a Young Artist Award nomination in 2005. She won ‘Best Actress’ at the Method Fest Independent Film Festival for ‘Tomorrow Is Today’ in 2007. On television, Taylor-Compton held recurring roles as Clara Forrester on ‘Gilmore Girls’ (2001–2004), earning a Young Artist Award nomination in 2004, and on ‘Charmed’ (2000–2006).
