Seth Rudetsky has established himself as a prominent figure in the Broadway community, transitioning from a classically trained pianist to a celebrated actor, writer, musician, and radio host. After earning three Emmy Award nominations as a comedy writer for ‘The Rosie ODonnell Show,’ Seth Rudetsky established himself as a multi-talented figure in the Broadway community. A classically trained pianist, he earned his degree in Piano Performance from Oberlin College Conservatory of Music in 1988. Early in his career, Rudetsky showcased his versatile writing talents for the Grammy Award shows in 1999 and 2000.
Concurrently, he established himself as a young adult fiction author, publishing ‘My Awesome/Awful Popularity Plan’ in 2012 and its sequel, ‘The Rise and Fall of a Theater Geek,’ in 2015. In March 2020, Rudetsky co-created ‘Stars in the House’ with James Wesley, a daily live-streamed web series that quickly became a vital platform for supporting The Actors Fund during the coronavirus pandemic, featuring hundreds of Broadway and Hollywood stars.
