Shaun Stafford was born in London, athletically talented, he was a skilful rugby player and attended Oxford University and was selected for their rugby squad. He started to attend the gym in order to put on weight and found that he enjoyed it, putting on 28 lbs of toned muscle. While at the gym he took an interest in learning about training methods. An injury unfortunately forced Shaun to retire from rugby and he changed his focus to men’s physique and fitness training.
Through training and focus, Shaun has had a lot of success in physique competitions. In 2014 he won his second WBFF Pro Fitness Model World Championship. He specialises in fat loss, competition preparation and strength and conditioning – he is an International Grade (PICP L3) Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a Poliquin Biosignature Practitioner (Biosig 1). He owns and is the director of his own gym City Athletic London and has lots of experience transforming bodies from elite athletes such as Anthony Joshua, Fulham Football Club, Middlesex Cricket Club to private clients.
He has vast experience in devising different training programmes to give the best results in the fastest time. He has worked with some of the top fitness brands in fitness modelling, magazine covers and promotions. He boasts a large social media following of over 1.5 million, using his platform to spread positivity around fitness and physical appearance and to inspire others to get fit.
