Stefania Constantini is an Italian Olympic gold medalist in curling and a prominent figure in the sport, representing Italy on the international stage. After making her international debut at the Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer in 2016 as the third on Italy’s national team, Stefania Constantini quickly established herself as a formidable talent in curling. By 2017, she had earned a spot as a second on the women’s senior team, achieving a bronze medal at the European Championships that year. Constantini continued to compete at the highest level, though her team narrowly missed qualification for the PyeongChang 2018 Olympics.
This trend continued when, as skip, her rink also failed to secure a spot for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics in the women’s event, setting the stage for a strategic pivot. Undeterred by these Olympic qualification setbacks, Constantini shifted her focus to mixed doubles. In May 2021, she formed a partnership with Amos Mosaner, which immediately proved successful. The duo finished fifth at the 2021 World Mixed Doubles Championship, an achievement that secured a historic berth for Italy in the mixed doubles event at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics marking the first time the country would be represented in this specific Olympic curling discipline.
Looking ahead, she is projected to compete once again at the World Mixed Doubles Championship in 2025, reuniting with her Olympic gold medal partner, Amos Mosaner.
