In 2013, Kigenyi made a significant career change, relocating to the United States to pursue education and a career in healthcare. He has since achieved academic milestones that support his work in the healthcare sector, culminating in a Doctor of Business Administration.
Dr. Kigenyi holds a Doctorate in Business Administration with a specialization in Healthcare Management and Leadership, complemented by an MBA in Healthcare Management and Leadership. His medical credentials include being a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) and a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), both accredited by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). He is also a licensed Six Sigma Black Belt in Healthcare and holds a certificate in Global Health. In the behavioral health field, he is a Registered Behavioral Technician. These qualifications underpin his leadership at Kind Love HealthCare, an Arizona-based organization he founded with a focus on patient-centered care and community impact. His current role as President of Twegaite Global Inc. highlights his commitment to community development, particularly for the Basoga people globally, through initiatives in education, healthcare, and cultural preservation.
