Stevo the Madman

Stevo the Madman launched his career as a professional footballer, making his first league appearance as a defender for Leyton Orient in November 2002. His football career included stints with Billericay Town (2003), Hornchurch (2003-2004), Redbridge F.C. (2004-2005), Enfield Town F.C. (2005-2007), Chelmsford City (2006), Newport County A.F.C.

(2008), and Boreham Wood F.C. (2008-2009). In 2009, he notably refused to continue playing for Newport County following a racially charged incident. Prior to his widespread social media fame, in the early 2000s, Stevo also worked as a record producer under the name Stevo, affiliated with the grime production crew The Beatcamp.

Following his professional football career, Stevo transitioned into a prominent internet personality, gaining significant attention for his humorous and relatable content on platforms including Snapchat, Instagram, and Facebook. His online persona, ‘StevoTheMadMan,’ emerged as he documented his daily experiences as a ‘van man,’ quickly establishing him as a prominent social media figure with a substantial online following. This digital content creation became a new foundation for his media presence and public recognition. Stevo the Madman’s media career expanded into television appearances and brand collaborations, showcasing his versatile talent.

His television presence continued in 2022 when he joined the cast of E4’s ‘Celebrity Cooking School.’ Stevo the Madman continues to cultivate his unique brand, leveraging his engaging personality and diverse professional experiences across sports, music, and digital media.
