Timothy Omaj, better known by his stage name Timomatic, is a Nigerian-born Australian singer-songwriter and performer. Omaji rose to fame after competing on the Australian version of “So You Think You Can Dance” in 2009. He came in seventh place out of all the contestants in the competition. In 2011, he competed in the fifth season of “Australia’s Got Talent,” finishing third overall. Omaji signed with Sony Music Australia in 2011 and released his first single, “Set It Off,” which was certified four times platinum and reached number two on the Australian Recording Industry Association’s Singles Chart.
His albums include “Welcome,” released in 2011, and “Timomatic,” released in 2012. Omaji debuted his seventh single, “Everything Is Allowed,” on the final episode of Australia’s Got Talent in 2013. Omaji was named Male Artist of the Year at the Afro-Australia Music and Movie Awards in September 2014. Timomatic released “Swave” in 2017, followed by “Do What You Want” in 2018. Timomatic then released “Stamina,” his sophomore EP. Timomatic was named one of the three judges for the upcoming new dance competition television show “Dance Boss,” alongside Sharni Vinson and Adam Garcia, and presented by Dannii Minogue, in April 2018. In the Australian season of “MADIBA The Musical – A Celebration of the Life of Nelson Mandela,” Timomatic played Sam Onatou.
