Alexa Davalos

Alexa Davalos Dunas was born on May 28, 1982, in Paris, France, to American parents, photographer Jeff Dunas and actress Elyssa Davalos. Her maternal grandfather was actor Richard Davalos. Davalos spent her early childhood in France and Italy before moving to New York City. At seventeen, she moved out on her own to New York City, supporting herself through modeling for photographers like Peter Lindbergh. Her interest in acting developed, leading her to attend the Off-Broadway Flea Theater in New York.

Davalos began her acting career in the early 2000s, appearing in the short film *The Ghost of F. Scott Fitzgerald* (2002) and guest-starring as Gwen Raiden in three episodes of the TV series *Angel* (2002–2003). Her breakthrough in film came with *The Chronicles of Riddick* (2004), where she played Kyra. She continued to work in feature films, including roles in the romantic drama *Feast of Love* (2007) and the horror film *The Mist* (2007). In 2008, she co-starred opposite Daniel Craig in the war film *Defiance*, a performance that received critical notice. Davalos also took on the role of Andromeda in the 2010 remake of *Clash of the Titans*, sharing the screen with Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, and Ralph Fiennes.

Her television career saw significant roles in series such as *Reunion* (2005–2006) and Frank Darabont’s *Mob City* (2013). Davalos gained wider recognition for her leading role as Juliana Crain in the Amazon Studios series *The Man in the High Castle*, appearing in 40 episodes from 2015 to 2019. Following this, she had a role in *Marvel’s The Punisher* (2019) and later joined the cast of CBS’s *FBI: Most Wanted* as Special Agent Kristin Gaines, a main role for 44 episodes from 2021 to 2023. She is also slated to appear in the upcoming biblical limited series *The Faithful* in 2026.
