Victoria Demchenko

Victoria Demchenko is a Russian luger who has achieved multiple medals in World Championships and European Championships. After gaining international recognition with her participation in the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics, Victoria Demchenko established herself as a formidable Russian luger, consistently progressing through the demanding World Cup circuits. Her early career saw her secure significant podium finishes, including a 3rd place in Singles (sprint) at the 2016–17 Luge World Cup in Sigulda, Latvia in 2017. She followed this with a 2nd place finish in Singles (sprint) at the 2017–18 Luge World Cup held in Lillehammer, Norway in 2018, demonstrating her rising competitive prowess.

Further showcasing her talent in team events, Victoria Demchenko contributed to another gold medal victory in the Team relay at the 2020–21 Luge World Cup in Sochi, Russia in 2021.
