Victoria Pedretti

Victoria Pedretti was born on March 23, 1995, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is of Italian descent and was raised Jewish. Pedretti attended Pennsbury High School in Fairless Hills, where she began to explore an interest in musical theatre. She later pursued formal training at the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama in Pittsburgh, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting in 2017. Her early career included roles in short films such as “Sole” and “Uncovering Eden” in 2014, marking her initial steps into the acting profession.

Pedretti’s breakthrough came in 2018 with her role as Eleanor “Nell” Crain Vance in Mike Flanagan’s Netflix horror series, “The Haunting of Hill House.” This performance garnered significant critical acclaim and established her as a prominent figure in the horror genre. She further solidified this reputation with her leading role as Danielle “Dani” Clayton in the follow-up series, “The Haunting of Bly Manor,” released in 2020. Concurrently, Pedretti gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Love Quinn in the Netflix thriller series “You,” appearing in its second and third seasons from 2019 to 2021, and making a cameo in the fourth season in 2023. These roles earned her nominations for prestigious awards, including the Critics’ Choice Super Awards and Saturn Awards.

Beyond her television success, Pedretti expanded her career into film and stage. In 2019, she appeared as Leslie Van Houten in Quentin Tarantino’s comedy-drama film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.” Her filmography also includes roles in “Shirley” (2020) and “Origin” (2023), demonstrating her range across various genres. In 2024, Pedretti made her Broadway debut in a revival of Henrik Ibsen’s “An Enemy of the People” at the Circle in the Square Theatre, further showcasing her commitment to diverse acting opportunities.
