Marty Grabstein is an American voice and screen actor best known for voicing Courage, the titular character in Cartoon Network’s animated horror-comedy show, Courage the Cowardly Dog.
Hailing from New York, Grabstein has had an eclectic career, working in television, film, theatre and commercials. On-screen, Grabstein has appeared in several movies and television shows. His television credits include My Life as a Teenage Robot, Law & Order, Third Watch, Wonder Showzen, Conviction, VeggieTales, and The Grindhouse Radio. Grabstein’s movie credits include Bury the Evidence, Apartment #5C, and, most recently, he played Rob in A Cat’s Tale.
Grabstein’s big break came when he was cast as Courage in Courage the Cowardly Dog; an iconic show which, despite ending close to two decades ago, continues to be discussed by both fans and critics alike. It is a unique role he reprised several times, on television in Cartoon Cartoon Fridays and The Fog of Courage, and in video games Cartoon Network Racing and FusionFall.
When not on screen or in the studio, Grabstein can be seen performing on stage; he gained recognition for his work with Rick Mowat for Lab Rats, their sketch comedy show. A quick-witted, fun-loving personality, Grabstein continues to thrill with his comedic antics.
