Keith Mujuru, better known online as Wheelie Kay, has amassed more than 140,000 subscribers on YouTube with his vlogs, in which he predominantly performs bicycle stunts. He has a total of over 13.5 million views across all of his videos on the platform. Mujuru also has more than 125,000 followers on Instagram @itswheeliekay, where he posts daily. He is sponsored by the bicycle retailer Mafia Bike.
Mujuru is from Southwark in London. He caused controversy in 2019, when he posted a video of himself and his friends pulling wheelies on their bikes as they rode against traffic through the nearby city of Brighton. He later removed the video and apologised. After admitting to unsafe riding and acting in a threatening and abusive manner, he agreed to pay an £880 fine at Crawley Magistrates’ Court. Mujuru also said that young people need to engage in activities that make them joyful and give them the right amount of adrenaline, and that the sole purpose of his videos is to inspire others and teach them new things.
Mujuru’s most popular Youtube upload is ‘HOW TO WHEELIE (ANY) BIKE!!!’, which has more than 3.6 million views. In 2022, he posted videos including ‘Footjam Tailwhip’, ‘Drinking Whilst Wheelieing’, ‘I GOT A NEW WHEELIE BIKE!! UNBOXING’, ‘TEACHING A 13 YEAR OLD HOW TO WHEELIE!!’ and ‘HOW TO MANUAL ANY BIKE!!’
