Professional parkour freerun athlete and content creator Wid Eriksen is best known for his amazing feats on the US Reality TV show, American Ninja Warrior. He is the only 3RUN Mexican ambassador and WFPF Sponsored athlete as well and is also a Pro Athlete in Urbanrunners first Mexican Parkour Team. He recently created his own Parkour Freerun Original Clothing Brand, WM Style Clothing.
Eriksen was born in Tijuana, Baja California then moved to Veracruz and began practicing parkour in 2004, throwing himself and diving and jumping around the streets, alleyways and beaches of his local area very much against his parents wishes as they feared for his safety because the city was becoming increasingly violent. Eventually, the unrest died away and Eriksen was able to go out and practice again, still to the chagrin of his parents who feared he would injury himself. And they were right, as he had many fails and accidents, but carried on regardless, determined to succeed, learning from his mistakes all the time. He attended his first international competition, the Jump off in Las Vegas, making it to the finals and matching the eventual champion in the skills round on points, ending as one of the best Top 10 athletes around the world.
A breathtaking athlete, Eriksen regularly posts images and videos of his incredible parkour antics on social media, via Instagram and Facebook, and through his YouTube channel, Wid Eriksen.
