Wu Pao-chun

Wu Pao-Chun is a renowned baker from Taiwan, who has made a prominent name for himself in the world of baking. He was born on September 5th, 1970, in Pingtung County, Taiwan’s southern region. Today, he is 52 years old and is recognized as one of the most distinguished and acclaimed bakers worldwide.

Wu discovered his passion for baking as a young child when he assisted his parents in their bakery store. However, he did not decide to pursue it as a career until much later in life. After completing his mandatory military service in Taiwan, Wu worked at a restaurant and a bakery. He soon realized that becoming a baker was his true calling and decided to pursue it seriously.

Wu completed formal baking training in 2008, and in 2009 he participated in the Bakery World Cup in Paris. His talent, along with his incredible work ethic, helped him to secure his first Bakery World Cup victory in 2010.

Since then, Wu has won numerous awards in various international competitions, including the Coupe du Monde de la Boulangerie (the World Cup of Baking) twice in 2012 and 2014. He has spent his career developing and refining his baking skills, and his work has established him as a highly respected member of the baking community worldwide.

In addition to his success in competitions, Wu owns a chain of bakeries in Taiwan, where he and his team create delicious and innovative baked goods. He also serves as a mentor to young people who aspire to be bakers. Wu believes that dedication, hard work, and passion are the keys to success, and he shares his knowledge and experience with the next generation of bakers.
