Yu Thandar Tin is a prominent Burmese actress, model, and former beauty queen, celebrated as one of the most successful and highest-paid actresses in Myanmar. Her career, spanning over a decade, has seen her feature in more than 150 films, establishing her as a household name in the Burmese entertainment industry.
Yu Thandar Tin began her modeling career in 2009, joining John Lwin’s John International Modeling Agency. Her early years in the industry were marked by numerous modeling competitions, runway shows, and magazine cover shoots. Her striking looks and charisma also landed her roles in various commercial advertisements. In 2009, Yu participated in the Miss Lorkrathong pageant, where she was the 1st runner-up. She achieved similar success in the Miss Now How 2009 pageant, winning the Miss Now How Popular Award and securing another 1st runner-up position. In 2010, she won the Miss Ngwe Saung title and was appointed as the ambassador of Ngwesaung Beach.
