Her father, Rodolfo, is of Puerto Rican and Spanish heritage, and her mother, Sidna González, is Mexican. She gained early recognition for her role as the first female assistant, Josie, in the TV series “Beakman’s World,” for which she received a Young Artist Award nomination in 1992.
