Disneyland have chosen Boy George to headline their first ever Magical Pride event, bringing his electrifying DJ set to the Paris theme park.
Disneyland Paris hosted its first ever Magical Pride and it was nothing short of a huge hit among attendees. Magical Pride was a spectacular, grandiose, and colourful way to kick off Pride Month. The celebration will go down in history books as the first ever official Pride event organized by Disney theme parks. The perfectly executed pride party began with an elaborate parade running through the streets of Disneyland Paris. The alluring parade brought energy to the crowd as it painted Disney’s streets in rainbow colors. Guest were able to fully celebrate pride as they received late-night access to the parks, a dance party, and countless magical surprises.
Boy George, the flamboyant singer-songwriter and icon in the LGBTQ community, brought real magic to the Disneyland Paris stage. The soulful vocalist who claimed international stardom as the lead singer for the boy band Culture Club, is now lighting up stages with high-energy DJ sets. Some may say that Boy George’s DJ set was the highlight of the entire Pride celebration. The set was glowing with a rainbow-lit backdrop coming from the iconic Tower of Terror Disney ride, while attendees of all ages were able to get up and groove to Boy George’s exhilarating DJ set.
