Universally acclaimed DJ David Puentez has released two fantastic new tracks in the past month.

The Cologne-based DJ and producer has been cementing his reputation as one of the most talented electronic musicians on the EDM scene with his two most recent tracks.

‘BANG!’ lives up to its name. Opening with a cavalcade of drums and synths, and building up to an anxiety-inducing early drop, ‘BANG!’ is a track made for huge crowds. The biggest DJs in the world have taken notice, and the track has already been played in live sets by Sebastian Ingrosso, Tujamo, Don Diablo Deniz Koyu and many more.

Puentez’s newest track, a remix of Flo Rida’s ‘Dirty Mind’, is similarly high-octane. Amplifying the original track’s beat tenfold and upping the tempo to a pulse-raising level, Puentez’s remix, created in collaboration with Neil Jackson, prepares ‘Dirty Mind’ for the festival circuit. Flo Rida’s trademark jackhammer delivery is augmented with a demonic low frequency effect, and the track builds and drops in a more pronounced way. Flo Rida’s original was perfect for the radio; Puentez’s remix is made for the clubs.

The ‘Dirty Mind’ remix video has racked up over 15,000 views in its first weekend, and considering Puentez’s music has been played by the likes of David Guetta, Tiesto and Axwell in the past, we will likely be hearing this track alongside ‘BANG!’ in sellout DJ shows from David Puentez and other DJs around the world for the rest of the year.
