DJ Predator Prime has released his latest single ‘Primetime’ featuring hip-hop legend KRS-One.

The team-up between the young DJ and the veteran MC has a family connection as KRS-One and Predator Prime are father and son. Not falling far from the tree, DJ Predator Prime’s production has a classic hip-hop feel, perfect for the vocal stylings of his esteemed father.

The track, which also features RA The Rugged Man and SB the Anomoly, premiered exclusively on Ambrosia for Heads this week and is available for free download on Predator Prime’s Bandcamp page.

‘Primetime’ is not the first collaboration between Predator and KRS. The DJ produced the majority of KRS-One’s latest album Now Hear This, released late last year. The album featured the anti-war on drugs anthem ‘Drugs Won’, which displays DJ Predator Prime and KRS-One’s combined talents in full.

KRS-One and DJ Predator Prime are currently touring Europe together with Prime recreating the backdrops of many of his father’s biggest and most influential hits, always putting his own spin on the arrangements.
