MN2S DJ and producer Shiba San has been nominated for an International Dance Music Award for the second time.
Last year Shiba San’s ‘Okay,’ released on Dirtybird, won the Best Underground Dance Track award at the ceremony.
This year San has been nominated for Best Underground Dance Track once again for his track ‘Burn Like Fire.’ The track was the first release from Shiba San’s brand new record label Basement LEAK.
‘Burn Like Fire’ was always destined for great success. It was premiered by Annie Mac ahead of its release last June, and it went on to become one of the biggest underground tracks of summer 2015.
Basement LEAK has since put out a compilation featuring music by Dateless, DaSmokin’Frogz and Jaekin. Based on the success of ‘Burn Like Fire’ we can be sure that upcoming releases from Shiba San’s label will be extremely high quality.
‘Burn Like Fire’ is up against some great tracks like ‘Make A Cake’ by Dirtybird label boss Claude VonStroke and ‘Solar Detroit’ by Maceo Plex, though San is still a favourite to win the award for the second year running.
The 31st IDMA’s will take place at the Winter Music Conference in Miami from March 21-24.
