Dutch DJ duo Zonderling have reached the top 10 of the European airplay chart with their Lost Frequencies collaboration ‘Crazy’.
The Radiomonitor chart, which collects data from radio stations across the entire continent, has placed ‘Crazy’ at number nine—one of only two dance songs in the top ten. The chart is stacked full of hugely popular mainstream songs, including Ed Sheeran’s ‘Perfect’, and Camila Cabello’s ‘Havana’. Zonderling’s track has even received more radio airplay than the latest release from former One Direction member ZAYN, which comes in at number ten.
Released in November 2017, Lost Frequencies and Zonderling’s recording has proven immensely popular. The song’s colourful video has so far racked up 26 million views. ‘Crazy’ is the inaugural release on Lost Frequencies’ new label Found Frequencies, distributed by Armada Music. The track’s success sets the bar high for future releases on the label.
Since the release of ‘Crazy’, Zonderling have put out ‘Lee’ with Moguai, another exciting single, this time on Heldeep Records. Currently available on their Soundcloud, only time will tell if ‘Lee’ reaches ‘Crazy’ levels of success in the coming months.
