His latest instrumental album was inspired by a growing trend he observed across streaming platforms: the rise of AI-generated artists and computer-created music. Rather than following that direction, Bridge set out to create a project rooted in live performance, organic instrumentation, and genuine human expression.
“What made me make this album is after Spotify had a ton of AI artists on their platform. I wanted the concept of live instrumentation to be apparent in order to show that a human made this. Not a library of assorted numbers.”
Building an album around real instruments
The philosophy behind the project is simple: don’t rely on technology to do the creative work.
While technology remains an important tool in modern music production, Bridge wanted his music to emphasise musicianship rather than automation. As a result, the majority of the album was created using real instruments, with piano and synthesizers serving as the foundation of the record’s sound.
“My overall theme is don’t rely on technology. Which is why the majority of the album uses real instruments.”
Instead of relying heavily on programmed parts, the album features performances recorded directly into the computer, preserving the subtle characteristics that make each piece feel alive and authentic.

“The overall sound has a very natural feel. All the instruments sound recorded into the computer instead of programmed.”

“I wanted everybody listening to this album to feel anything. I wanted them to feel, ‘Nice, I like this,’ or ‘This is beautiful.’”

“The track that represents the message is probably ‘Gabe,’ in which everything is live instruments.”
