Artist Spotlight: Pharrö's High-Energy Musical Identity | MN2S

Colombian-Born DJ and Producer Pharrö Releases Debut Single “Don’t Feel The Same” via MN2S Today

Born in Medellín, Colombia, Pharrö is a DJ and producer whose sound was shaped from the ground up by the high-energy, communal spirit of his birthplace. Electronic music in Medellín carries a specific, driving intensity, built for massive crowds and designed to move people, and that foundation never left him. When he made the move to the US East Coast, it required a recalibration of his musical identity, blending South American energy with the nuances of the North American underground. The result is a sound that sits at the intersection of Latin house, afro house, deep house and minimal tech: distinct, infectious, and instantly recognisable as his own.

“Moving from Medellín to the US East Coast was a sonic pivot,” he explains. “In Medellín, electronic music is often high-energy and communal. The ‘Medellín Style’ tech-house and techno has a specific, driving intensity designed for massive crowds.”

A Decade Building the East Coast Underground

Over more than a decade carving his path on the East Coast, Pharrö has become a fixture across the scene, headlining some of the biggest shows in Charlotte, NC and working his way down to the heart of Miami. Along the way he has shared stages with a diverse roster of respected names: Tony Touch, Nitefreak, Devault, Moreno y Prieto, Andy Martinez, CID, Ferra Black, Ambrxse, Chris Ocana, Gustavo Domingues, Benjamin Loyd and many others. Each of those experiences has sharpened his understanding of what it means to hold a room.

Equally important to his development as a DJ has been his work as a promoter. Throwing his own shows in Charlotte and Miami gave Pharrö a perspective that most artists never develop, an understanding of what a room needs from both sides of the booth. It informs every decision he makes, whether he is building a set or building a track.

“Certain rooms call for a certain rhythm and sound, so I like to keep that in mind when making a track,” he says. “Throwing shows and playing different rooms helped me understand what type of audience I want to connect with.”

The Philosophy Behind the Performance

That philosophy extends to how he sees the relationship between a DJ and a crowd. For Pharrö, the dance floor is not a place to assert authority. It is a place to build something together. He rejects the idea of the DJ as an iron-fist figure, preferring instead a fluid, responsive approach that prioritises genuine connection over spectacle.

“I see it as a collaborative exchange. I have to build a relationship with the crowd to create a meaningful connection; if I’m playing for myself rather than for them, that connection is lost. If you try to ‘command’ a room with ego, you risk losing the soul of the party.”

“Don’t Feel The Same” Is Out Now

Today, 21 May 2026, Pharrö releases his debut single “Don’t Feel The Same” via MN2S Label Services. It is the first of six planned releases over the next three months and the beginning of what he describes as his snowball effect. It marks his first major release and his first official release of 2026, arriving at a moment when the foundations he has spent years laying are beginning to pay off. With releases already confirmed on Witty Tunes, MN2S, ALXMY and Used Goods Recs, he is stepping decisively from regional powerhouse to global contender.

“Don’t Feel The Same” was built from an emotional standpoint. It is a record that holds two states at once, the kind of track that works at full throttle with your closest friends on a hot summer day, and just as well on a quiet, rainy night driving through the city while you self-reflect. That deep balance between the emotional and the groovy is exactly what Pharrö was reaching for, and it makes the record one that can be dropped into many different types of sets without losing its impact.

The Story Behind the Record

The track draws inspiration from the work of Miami artists samm BE and Berin, producers whose constructive approach to arrangements and vocals Pharrö has long admired. Their influence can be heard in the melodic momentum at the heart of the record, a peak-hour track with genuine emotional weight underneath the groove.

“This is a very special one,” says Pharrö. “I consider this record to be the start of my snowball effect. My first major release, my first official release of the year, the start of many. One of six for the next three months. So it is extremely special to me.”

What’s Next for Pharrö

The momentum around Pharrö right now is hard to ignore. On 23 May he plays a sold-out headline show in Myrtle Beach, SC, a milestone that reflects just how far his live reputation has grown. Later that month, on 29 May, his highly anticipated track “Sex Groove” drops on Lower LVL, a release that has already generated significant buzz from respected names including Joseph Capriati and Jamie Jones. His debut EP on Witty Tunes is also in the works, adding further weight to what is shaping up to be a defining year.

Ultimately, Pharrö’s ambitions reach well beyond the next release cycle. His Colombian heritage remains at the heart of his identity, a universal language that allows him to connect across borders and demographics. The name Pharrö, he says, should stand for consistency, passion and euphoria on every dance floor he touches.

“I want to cultivate an environment where people know they are free to express themselves, let go, and enjoy the journey.”
