Canadian-British pop-classical singer Anne Garr is heading into JUNO season with three songs submitted for awards consideration and a new role inside the Canadian music industry’s most influential body.
As one of the inaugural class of JUNO Academy Delegates with CARAS, she now has a direct voice in how Canadian music is recognised.
For an artist working between pop and classical, the timing could not be better. This season’s JUNO entries open a clearer route for crossover music, and Anne is stepping into it from both sides: as a voting delegate and as a contender.
It has been a busy 18 months since Anne joined MN2S Label Services. Last year she competed in America’s Next Top Hitmaker 2025, and earlier this year we caught up with her about scoring Agape Beauty Shop II in our artist spotlight. This JUNO campaign is the next step, taking her from stage and screen into awards season.
A seat at the table
This week marks the official start of JUNO season in Canada, and Anne joins it as an Official JUNO Academy Delegate. The role sits at the top tier of the Academy, with a direct hand in voting, shaping award categories and decisions that affect the Canadian music industry.
“It’s a huge milestone, but what makes this even more momentous is that as a pop-classical and crossover artist it proves my genre is finally getting the recognition it deserves from the absolute pinnacle of the Canadian music industry,” says Anne.
“Going forward I hope to use this seat at the table to bring a greater awareness of pop-classical music as a whole,” she adds.
Announcing the role to her followers, she put it simply: “Let’s make room for pop-classical music at the highest echelon.”
Three songs for JUNO consideration
Anne has submitted three tracks for JUNO Award consideration this season, each showing a different side of her crossover sound.
“How I Feel”, featuring Grace G, has officially been entered in the Electronic Dance Single of the Year category. It is also taking Anne’s radio reach further. After earlier airplay in France, New Zealand and the UK, the track has landed a major European add on RadioHits 1, with rotation expanding across Spain, France and Italy, and a further international add confirmed and details to follow.
ECHO (Official Remix)
When we first introduced Anne, she was weighing up a fresh release of her December 2024 single “ECHO“, made with Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum producer Roy Hamilton. That plan has become an official remix by Grace G, with Roy returning to give final sign-off and mix approval. It has been cleared for the Contemporary Christian and Inspirational Crossover category, an umbrella that now takes in pop-classical, classical-ambient and operatic-pop. Anne is in the studio this week for the final mix, and the remix is due with MN2S Label Services within the next week or so.
“I’m so thrilled about this, especially as a pop-classical artist, that this musical category has opened up to give a better chance to crossover artists and their music,” says Anne.
The Distance
“The Distance” is a collaboration with multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated and Billboard number one charting producer Kenny Lewis, who also produced the track.
Building global momentum
With her JUNO campaign launching and new radio support coming in, Anne’s focus is on growing her audience nationally and internationally from the start. New studio material from the “ECHO” sessions and fresh promotional imagery are on the way over the coming days.
MN2S Label Services is proud to support Anne through this campaign, from distribution and release delivery to promotion across our channels. We’ll be sharing more on “ECHO (Official Remix)” as release details are confirmed.
