Founder Adrian Niculescu is using the milestone to relaunch the label with a bold new identity, a fresh slogan and an ambitious plan.
The 50th release came in the form of Pump It Up, an EDM anthem by Adrian Taylor, and it arrived alongside a redesigned logo and the new label slogan: Feel The Frequency of Love. For Niculescu, the Romanian-born, Dubai-based entrepreneur, DJ and music producer behind the label, it represents more than a catalog achievement. It signals the beginning of a deliberate new phase for DJ Agape Records.
“Reaching 50 releases is a major creative and entrepreneurial milestone,” says Niculescu. “This new identity gives the label a sharper voice and a stronger emotional signature. Feel The Frequency of Love captures the energy behind everything we’re building, from records for streaming, radio, DJs, clubs and festivals to music created for advertising, games and movies.”
Since moving into active release mode in 2023, DJ Agape Records has developed a genre-fluid catalog built around two core identities: Adrian Taylor, Niculescu’s primary artist project, and collaborative releases involving The GlobTrotters. Across those releases the label has explored electronic, crossover and rhythm-forward sounds, carving out a platform that is as comfortable in DJ sets and festival environments as it is in sync-driven contexts across advertising, video games and film.
The label’s footprint is already well-established across key platforms including Beatport, Spotify, Traxsource, Qobuz, Beatsource and Shazam, giving it a strong distribution base from which to build. The next stage of that build is focused on selective artist signings, taking the roster from two artists to seven, while deepening the creative infrastructure around each release.
The rebrand is designed to support exactly that kind of growth, a visual and conceptual framework that can travel across streaming, live performance and screen-based formats with consistency and emotional clarity.
