How did you get into music originally?
Music has been a significant part of my life from an early age. I grew up surrounded by a wide range of genres and was always drawn to the creative process of writing and producing music. Over the years, my family, SRJR, has involved me in various aspects of the industry. This hands-on experience has given me a unique perspective on the music landscape and the versatility to write across many genres.
How long has your label been in operation?
SRJR Music Group has been in operation for three years. Since its inception, we’ve been committed to discovering and creating original music, while establishing ourselves as emerging talent in the industry. Our mission is not only to showcase our artistry but also to challenge ourselves creatively and push the boundaries of what we can achieve as a group.
Tell us about your first release – what was special about that one?
Our first release was a defining moment for the label. It was an ambitious project that encapsulated our vision—authentic, high-quality music that resonates with audiences. The reception was incredible, and it set the tone for the type of records we wanted to put out moving forward. It also reinforced our belief in the artists we were working with, giving us the confidence to continue developing our unique sound.
Tell us about the latest record you’ve released.
“Let Me Love You” – By leading with this track, I’m introducing myself to listeners in the most genuine way possible: offering my heart before anything else. No gimmicks, no distractions, just love. That’s the foundation on which I want to build my music and my connection with my audience. This song is all about honesty and emotional depth. In a world where love is often measured by material things such as gifts, status, or wealth I wanted to offer something different. This track stands as a powerful contrast to that mindset. It’s about real, pure love – the kind built on loyalty, care, and genuine connection. At its core, the message is simple but profound: “Give me a chance to show you real love.” It’s a reminder that true love isn’t about what you can buy someone, it’s about how deeply you can love them, emotionally and spiritually.

Surround yourself with a team that shares your enthusiasm and understands the industry. Additionally, investing time in learning the business side of; music, distribution, marketing, and legal aspects are just as important as the creative process. Your goal should get listeners to believe in the music you’re putting out and always prioritize quality over quantity.
What are your plans for the rest of the year and beyond?
We have an exciting lineup of releases planned for the rest of the year, featuring our committed artists. In addition to new music, we’re expanding our collaborations, exploring innovative ways to reach audiences, and strengthening our presence in the global market. Looking ahead, we aim to continue evolving as a label while staying true to our core values which are, learning, adapting and growing.
