As another month draws to a close, we look back at the latest releases from the MN2S label services group.

Key releases from the beginning of May include ‘Right Here’ by Hideo Kobayashi & Lisa Taylor, released on Kobayashi’s Fuente Music. The label’s third release, ‘Right Here’ is a laid back, funky, soulful house track with a spellbinding vocal performance from Taylor. The single comes with remixes from JT Donaldson.

Jack Had a Groove by Horatio, a short but very sweet techno house EP released on UNDR THE RADR, also debuted at the beginning of May; as did Gonna Do, the latest work from the mysterious young producer known only as Mystep. This is Mystep’s first release on Sex Panda White.

Also released in the first half of May was Audiojack’s All By Mouth EP, the duo’s first record on 20/20 Vision.

Later in the month Brotherton Wing gave us their first full release of original material off the back of a string of acclaimed remixes. The I Want It EP is faithful to the history of the Hard Times label, with 909 drums and a dancefloor-friendly beat.

Lavvy Levan’s first solo EP also came out in May on Friday Fox Recordings, the label he runs with Christian B. Lavvy’s Trouble Sole EP perfectly captures the spirit of his label, with a heavy emphasis on grooves and basslines.

We also heard the first of a new collaboration between TeoTy & RiverBros on Kaisen Records. The crew are slowly making a name for themselves across Europe, and this song will definitely bring them more attention.
