Every Monday we take a look at the new releases from the MN2S label group. Here’s what’s out this week:
Karen Pollard ‘Reach Out To Me (The Remixes)’ [Hard Times]
Resurgent house legends Hard Times revisit another classic on their second digital release with a hefty package of remixes. The Leeds heritage of the label is kept strong with a starring remix from 2020 Vision boss Ralph Lawson and one his excellent signings, Tuccillo, while there’s everything from nu disco to garage reworkings from DJ Spen & Soulfuledge, Mat Playford, Mineo, Kayper, Louis Bailey, Angel and Paperboys.

Remi Mazet – I Felt This Way Before [ColorsLnd]
MN2S welcomes London party Colors’ very own label to the group roster, with an EP from rising star and resident Remi Mazet [pictured] kicking things off. The title track is cool nu disco, ‘Orange Blue’ treads lush deep house territory and ‘Les Merguez’ takes more of an acid house approach. Ivan Smagghe tops things off with his Italo-fied take on the title track, making for a stellar debut release.

Max Chapman & Kieran Andrews ‘Factory 7 EP’ [Lost Records]
Fast-rising producer Max Chapman teams up with Kieran Andrews for two tracks on Leftwing & Kody’s burgeoning imprint. The title track takes its rhythmic cues from speed garage, layering all manner of rugged, detuned synth riffs over the top, while ‘Loving Arms’ goes deeper with a skipping techy beat, ominous low-slung bass and cut-up R&B vox.
