From Self-Taught Producers to Rising UK Groove Masters
The DJ Sessions, hosted and produced by Darran Bruce, has long been a cornerstone of electronic music culture. As a Twitch and Mixcloud Featured Partner with over 2,600 episodes, the show highlights leading DJs, producers, and industry voices. In a recent episode, the spotlight turned to MN2S Label Services clients The Faraone Bros, an energetic UK-based duo whose journey from bedroom production to festival-ready sets is equal parts inspiring and entertaining. The duo was joined by many fans who tuned in watch the interview live.
About The Faraone Bros
Tom and Pipo Faraone share not only DNA but also a deep creative connection. Yes, they are actually brothers, and that might well be where their playful nature comes from. Growing up surrounded by music, from Italian pop to Motown classics, their childhood was filled with sound. “We’ve always been surrounded by music,” they shared. “Saturday mornings, every car journey, the radio was always on.” With no formal training, the brothers taught themselves everything through curiosity and dedication. “Listening to great DJs and experimenting with new sounds, it’s always been about passion, not perfection,” says Pipo.
About their music.
When asked to describe their music in three words, they didn’t hesitate: “Groovy, high-energy, encapsulated.” Their sets flow between 120 and 180 BPM, blending house, garage, bass, and drum and bass influences. “The groove is everything,” says Tom. “We want people to start by the bar, nodding their heads, and end up on the dance floor.” Each performance is designed to take listeners on a journey not just a playlist of bangers, but a full musical experience. A major breakthrough came when the brothers connected with Fundamental, a UK event collective that became crucial to their growth. “They gave us our first real chance,” recalls Pipo. “They believed in us before we fully believed in ourselves.” At a Fundamental New Year’s Eve event, they performed a set of unreleased tracks that changed everything. “The feedback was incredible,” says Tom. “That night gave us the confidence to take things seriously.” Like many modern producers, The Faraone Bros are entirely self-taught. Their main production software is FL Studio, which they’ve used since university. “We’ve been using FL for years. It’s second nature now,” says Pipo. “We’ve even built our setup from scratch and recently added hardware to bring more life into our sound.” Working with engineer and producer Lee Howe, known for collaborations with Chasing Status and Sony took their production to new heights. “He’s been a game-changer,” says Tom. “When someone at that level tells you your track is industry quality, it’s an incredible feeling.”

Joining Forces with MN2S
The Faraone Bros are gearing up for an exciting run of new music in partnership with MN2S Label Services, including a catalogue of original tracks set for release in the coming year. Building on their recent SoundCloud drop “Burn This City Down” and a signed single with Moustache Records, the duo are refining their next releases with guidance from engineer Lee Howe to reach industry-level quality. Fans can also look forward to a mix of official releases and free remixes on SoundCloud as the brothers continue to expand their sound and creative reach. Looking back, the brothers humorously admitted that they almost missed their chance with MN2S popping their emails into the spam folder, because, let’s be honest, who actually reads those? And did they actually want us?
“We had actually applied to MN2S and then totally forgotten about it. And we had emails coming through saying, would you like an interview sort of thing? And I think we’ve been putting them straight in the spam folder because we thought, nah, this is unlikely. Then they sent us, a firm email, basically saying like, do you want this or not guys? Like, what are you doing essentially? And again, we checked it with Lee and we were like, Lee, is MN2S a legit company? And he sort of sent us back their website and went, what? These guys, yeah, they’re legit, they’re really good. And that was, after that, it was, that was a brilliant start of the next chapter.”
What’s Next for The Faraone Bros
With a growing SoundCloud following, recent releases like “Burn This City Down,” and a catalogue of unreleased tracks, the future looks bright. They are also exploring the idea of live hybrid performances that blend digital and analogue sounds. “We’d love to do more hybrid analogue sets,” they said. “Something that blends performance with spontaneity.” As for the long-term dream: “We’re builders by day, producers by night,” Tom joked. “But music is our passion. One day soon, we want that to be our full-time reality.” Listen to The Faraone Bros’ latest mix on SoundCloud and follow their journey at www.faraonebros.co.uk
