Banda MS to headline Jalapeno Festival | MN2S

MN2S has confirmed Banda MS as the headline act for WBCA’s 48th Annual Jalapeño Festival, set for Saturday, February 7, 2026. The long-running festival has built a reputation for bringing major Latin artists to a broad audience, and this year’s lineup is no different. Alongside Banda MS, the bill also features La Firma, Caifanes, and Enanitos Verdes, combining contemporary regional Mexican music with popular Latin rock acts.

Banda MS Jalapeno Announce

Known formally as La Banda MS de Sergio Lizárraga, Banda MS was formed in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, and has become one of the most influential banda groups of the modern era. Their breakout album Qué Bendición arrived in 2016, producing hits such as “Tengo Que Colgar,” “Me Vas a Extrañar,” and “Mala Experiencia.” Momentum continued with La Mejor Versión de Mí in 2017, followed by Con Todas las Fuerzas in 2018, each release widening the group’s popularity. By the end of 2018, Banda MS had achieved a landmark milestone, being recognised as the most listened-to Mexican music group that year.

Fronted by vocalists Oswaldo Silvas and Alan Ramírez, and backed by a 14-member band, the group has consistently sold out arena shows across the United States, including performances at venues such as the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Allstate Arena in Chicago, and the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles.
