US rapper Busta Rhymes has topped the album charts as a major collaborator on A Tribe Called Quest’s final album We got it from Here… Thank You 4 Your service.

 
Busta Rhymes has appeared as a featured artist on dozens of songs with A Tribe Called Quest, so it is only fitting that he would make several appearances on the hip hop group’s final album, We got it from here… Thank U 4 your service, which topped the Billboard Hot 200 Album Chart on release.

Busta appears on four of the album’s tracks, according to the official credits, though his presence is felt on many more. He takes the lead on album highlight ‘The Donald’ which, rather than addressing President-elect Donald Trump, is in fact a loving tribute to the recently deceased Tribe member Phife Dawg.

Busta Rhymes appeared on Saturday Night Live with the group’s surviving members Q-Tip, Jarobi, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, along with fellow featured artist Consequence after the album’s release to perform opening track ‘The Space Program’. The group’s appearance on the show was widely praised.
