Following the release of his critically acclaimed 2019 projects Baby on Baby and Kirk, DaBaby once again capitalizes on his superstar status with his third studio album BLAME IT ON BABY.
The highly anticipated project features some of the top names in hip-hop, including Future, Roddy Rich, Quavo, Megan Thee Stallion, NBA Youngboy, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and Ashanti. Hours before the release of the album, DaBaby posted a video on IGTV in which he shared information detailing why he chose to collaborate with these artists and discussing his experience working with them.

The Charlotte rapper first announced the release of the album earlier last week through a social media post that featured the album covert art with a caption that read “THIS FRIDAY!” Shortly afterwards he uploaded a comic infomercial-style promo video titled “1-800-Blame-It-On-Baby”, in which he encouraged fans to blame their problems on him by calling the number on the screen. Along with the release of his album, Dababy premiered two new music videos on his YouTube channel, for the songs “Jump” featuring NBA Youngboy, and “Pick Up” featuring Quavo.
Fresh off the release of his latest single and short film “Find My Way”, Dababy’s consistent output of quality content has allowed him to maintain his position as one of the biggest artists in the game, and even feature on songs such as “Oprah’s Bank Account” with Lil Yachty and Drake. With his trademark charisma, high-energy songs, and eye-catching music videos, DaBaby has successfully delivered another memorable entrance in his impressive discography.
