Lil Baby releases new track 'Sum 2 Prove' | News | Live | MN2S

After releasing three full-length projects in 2018, Lil Baby dominated the industry before taking a step back – until now.

After only releasing the single Woah in 2019, Lil Baby opens the year with new single ‘Sum 2 Prove’. Returning to the centre of attention in the hip-hop world this year after teasing a new album, titled It’s My Turn. He surprised fans by briefly sharing the album cover last week via Twitter and has yet to announce an official release date.

Lil Baby is one of Quality Control’s premiere artists, forming part of a label roster consisting of Migos, Lil Yachty, and City Girls.  Gunna and Lil Baby took over the hip-hop scene throughout 2018 with their collaborations becoming summer anthems almost. Sold-out dates featuring the both of them went on to peak No 4 on the Billboard charts during that summer fresh off their debut Rolling Loud Miami performances.

Music phenom Drake also assisted in the rise of Lil Baby with their single Yes Indeed which was highly anticipated.  The single peaked Billboard’s number one streaming songs chart along with reaching number 6 on the Hot 100.  This co-sign gave Lil Baby his first top 10 hit and as of now has eclipsed 3x platinum. With such early success and back to back top 5 chart debuts from Street Gossip and Drip Harder, It’s My Turn, we can only expect a strong second showing from Lil Baby, who is poised for another strong debut which could potentially be his biggest yet.
