MN2S rising star Kelli-Leigh’s latest single release is the fantastic ‘Runnin’ by Low Steppa.

Kelli-Leigh is a featured artist once again, bringing her passionate, soulful vocals to Low Steppa’s visceral beats. The track is the second collaboration between Kelli-Leigh and Low Steppa, after the huge success of 2015’s ‘So Real’.

‘Runnin’, much like Kelli-Leigh’s most recent single with Bisou, ‘Ain’t Got Nobody’, premiered on MistaJam’s 1Xtra show. MistaJam, whose show was recently named one of the best electronic music shows on the airwaves by MN2S, has proven to be one of Kelli-Leigh’s biggest supporters throughout her career, and he was more than happy to premiere her latest work.

Last year, Kelli-Leigh featured on Duke Dumont & Jax Jones’ Grammy-nominated anthem, ‘I Got U’, and SecondCity’s ‘I Wanna Feel’, which both made it to number one in the UK charts. If these are anything to go by, we can expect to hear ‘Runnin’ in the clubs and on the radio for a long time to come. The song has already made the jump from 1Xtra to Radio 1, perhaps foreshadowing a jump between underground and mainstream success.

So far Kelli-Leigh’s career as a singer has gone from strength to strength. No longer does she have to sing in the style of other artists (though her Toni Braxton and Whitney Houston impressions are exquisite). Now, she can be herself, and show the world exactly what she is capable of as a singer and performer. Kelli-Leigh already has two more great tracks lined up for release in February, collaborating with Ferreck Dawn and Santey. If her career continues the way it is going, it won’t be long before Kelli-Leigh is a household name.
