Holloway’s picks include newer artists like MGMT and Christine & the Queens, as well as musical icons like The Beatles, Kate Bush, and ABBA. She discusses how the disco stylings of Sister Sledge had a direct influence on Slow Down track ‘Berry Bones’, and how Radiohead’s ‘Bullet Proof… I Wish I Was’ inspired her song ‘Between You and Me’.
The new EP comes off the back of three well-received singles ‘Stay a Little Longer’, ‘Is Anything Real Anymore’, and ‘World’s On Fire’. These tracks established Holloway as a formidable songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, ready to take her rightful place as one of the UK’s most talented young musicians.

Lots Holloway’s new EP title track was debuted by Clash earlier in the year, with the publication describing it as “bubbling pop music laden with colour.”
