Justin Timberlake

JT was eating lunch in New Hampshire at the Omni Mount Washington Resort when several members of a wedding party taking place at the same venue. They asked him to surprise bride Chelsey Gaudet, a fan, and the ‘Cry Me A River’ singer was happy to oblige, even taking a few photos with the happy couple

Maroon 5

In a much more planned gatecrashing occurrence, superstar band Maroon 5 decided to use the concept of wedding crashing for a 2015 music video – ‘Sugar’. The band and video director colluded with each of the grooms whose weddings they would be crashing and pulled off some incredible surprises for bridal parties and wedding guests. Frontman Adam Levine said, “It was an out of body experience, I had no idea I would be affected by the overwhelming reactions we had from the couples and their guests. Being able to create an unforgettable experience for several people was the highlight of it all.”

John Travolta

A couple who were about to get married bumped into John Travolta the day before their nuptials and jokingly invited the Grease star to their wedding the following day. The joke was on them when Travolta turned up the following day and posed for photos with the bridal party. John later revealed that it wasn’t the first wedding he had crashed; in 1977 he attended a random wedding in Santa Barbara with friend Robin Williams.

LeBron James

Superstar Basketball player LeBron James was doing interviews at Miami’s Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove when he ran into a couple tying the knot there the same day. Showing his down to earth attitude, the Miami Heat player happily posed for photos with the couple, Shaun and Jamie Kolnick, who he dwarfed!
