During the event, Dani shared stories from her illustrious career and participated in a Q&A that offered the Riot Games team valuable insights into her work, challenges, and insights on inclusion. The event reflected Riot Games’s commitment to celebrating diverse voices and fostering a more inclusive workplace culture. Founded in 2006 by Brandon Beck and Marc Merrill, the company is best known for League of Legends, a globally popular multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game. Riot has expanded its portfolio with titles like VALORANT, Teamfight Tactics, and Legends of Runeterra, and has ventured into multimedia with the animated series Arcane.
Dani Bowman is an American animator, entrepreneur, and autism advocate. Diagnosed with autism, she founded DaniMation Entertainment at age 11 and began her professional animation career at 14. Bowman has premiered multiple award-winning animated short films at San Diego Comic-Con, featuring voice talents like Tom Kenny and Joe Mantegna.Her company employs and mentors individuals on the autism spectrum, promoting neurodiverse talent in animation. She has taught animation to over 2,500 youth through workshops in the U.S. and U.K. Bowman holds a BFA in Animation and an MBA from Woodbury University and appears on Netflix’s “Love on the Spectrum US”
