Jon Lovitz was the keynote speaker at a charity event for Big Dog Ranch Rescue this week, the largest cage-free, no-kill dog rescue charity in the United States. The event, Big Dog Ranch Rescue Gala, was an invite-only affair that sought to raise awareness around dog rescue, providing them with the care they need and placing animals with loving families. Taking place December 6th, the Gala was a fundraising event aimed at bringing in donations to help Big Dog Ranch Rescue continue the essential work that they do. With a number of high-profile guests in attendance – including members of the Trump family – the even saw Lovitz offer a heartwarming speech that informed attendees about Big Dog Ranch Rescue’s work, alongside a comedic skit to entertain the room.

Jon Lovitz is an Emmy-nominated actor and comedian best known for his five-year stint as a cast member on Saturday Night Live (1985-1990), where he created iconic characters like Tommy Flanagan the Pathological Liar and Master Thespian.
