La Toya Jackson is best known as a member of the legendary Jackson family. After first rising to prominence as part of the family’s variety television series The Jacksons in the late ‘70s, she found success as a solo recording artist, releasing hugely popular singles such as “Heart Don’t Lie”, “If You Feel the Funk” and “Sexbox”. Following her musical career, La Toya has authored two New York Times best-selling books, and appeared in her own reality television series, Life with La Toya.
