Find Out More On These Three Unusual Motivational Speakers
When it comes to motivational speakers they often hail from the world of sport, where hard work and perseverance are everything and setbacks such as injury or a tough start in life only make a speaker’s story more sincere and allow audiences to identify more with them.
They do often tend to hail from the more traditional sports, however – such as football, rugby and athletics. We’ve picked out three of the best motivational speakers on our books here at MN2S celebrity talent agency who have something a bit different about them – from the world of sport and from elsewhere.
Take a look and see if one of them could help your next event to go with a bang:
Pamela Cookey
At the top of her game, Pamela is nonetheless one of the lesser known names on our roster thanks to the sport that she plays – Netball. Cookey was born in Birmingham and was first picked for the England team at the tender age of just 17, when she was tapped to play in the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester.
Unfortunately due to a knee injury she was unable to play on that occasion, and made her senior debut for the UK team in 2004, and during her time with the team has seen incredible success, winning medals in the Commonwealth Games and the World Netball Series.
Cookey lives a double life – in her day job she also works as a manager at the internationally renowned manufacturer Airbus, while also jetting all over the world to play international netball. With 110 caps for England, Cookey is one of the UK’s best ever netball players, and her experience juggling her job with her career in sports on the international stage means she’s got some great anecdotes.
Warm and charming, she’ll win over any audience, but she’s sure to go down particularly well with sporty women, who may well remember their own days playing netball fondly!
Chris Riddell
If it’s inspiring about the future that you want out of a public speaker, Chris is surely your man. On many occasions he has been a keynote speaker at events in the digital and technology industries, is a regular commentator in the media and even describes himself as a futurist.
His unique and well respected take on digital marketing and where the future will take us digitally makes him a fascinating and really quite unique speaker – and one with some serious experience too, as the first ever Chief Digital Officer for Mars incorporated.
Book Chris Riddell to speak at your event and you’ll simultaneously blow the minds of your audience and excite them about the future of business and marketing. He’s an ideal choice for any kind of business seminar or forum.
Sir Richard Dearlove
If we could tell you what an engaging and interesting speaker Richard Dearlove is… we’d have to kill you. The former head of MI6 (between 1999 and 2004), Dearlove will entice your audience into attending as soon as they’ve heard his former job title – it’s not every day that you get to hobnob with a spymaster!
Dearlove was on the front line of operations in Paris, Geneva and the former USSR, as well as serving as director during the turbulent years of 9/11 and the Iraq War. His incredible rise to success from his birth in a small fishing town is truly inspiring and a testament to the meritocracy of the SIS.
Shock and awe are exactly what you’ll get when you book Sir Richard – and a handful of motivation too, we should think.
